Pablo Villaroel, head of Villaroel-Torrico Architects, brings us closer to Marbella's beginnings. A very interesting interview about how, over the years, he's seen Marbella transform from a small village into one of the leading global luxury destinations.

His father, Melvin Villarroel greatly contributed to the development of Marbella. For more than three decades of his life and work, this creative genius earned his well-deserved reputation with dozens of projects such as hotels, golf courses, beach clubs and residential complexes along the Costa del Sol and other parts of Spain. In 1973, he was contracted to design the Hotel Puente Romano and this is how his long-lasting relationship with the area was cemented. A visionary, who played an essential role in shaping Marbella’s personality, received many awards, among others one that stands out in 1994 when he was awarded by the Marbella City Council for his contribution to the embellishment of the city. In the interview, Pablo tells us about Marbella's luxury and how the luxury real estate sector will develop in the coming days. He tells us about how his father passed on to him the philosophy based on a deep respect for nature and the “human scale” as well as local traditions and customs.

The idea of integrating Marbella Club Hills into nature is what has drawn us into working together on this project. Contact us if you'd like to know more about our last available units.
